Education & Legal Experience
A native of Woodland, Alabama, Anna earned her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Jacksonville State University, where she was a member of the JSU Honors Program. She then pursued her legal education at Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law, where she ranked near the top of her class.
During law school, Anna focused on juvenile justice, child protection, and bioethics, gaining hands-on experience as a member of the Reforming Juvenile Justice Team, Children’s Bioethics Team, and Alternate Care and Child Protection Team. This work provided her with invaluable insight into child custody, guardianship, and cases involving the welfare of minors, which she now applies in her family law practice.
From Teaching to Law – A Passion for Protecting Families
Before becoming an attorney, Anna worked as a first-grade teacher at Woodland Elementary School and spent two years coaching Danceline. Her experience in education gives her a unique perspective on child development, family dynamics, and the challenges parents face—making her particularly effective in cases involving child custody, parental rights, and co-parenting agreements.
Personal & Professional Commitment
Outside of the courtroom, she is an avid runner, regularly running road races. She also enjoys interior decorating and is an enthusiastic college football fan—she never misses a game during football season.
