Her strong family ties and compassionate nature fuel her passion for family law and her commitment to guiding Alabama families through some of the most difficult and emotional times in their lives. As an Alabama divorce and child custody attorney, Amelia understands that every family is unique. She takes the time to listen to her clients, understand their goals, and fight for the outcome that best protects them and their children.
Education
Amelia graduated among the top of her class at Enterprise High School before attending the University of Alabama, where she majored in Political Science and minored in Mathematics. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, and her dedication to family law led her to join The Rose Law Firm.
An Analytical Approach to the Financial Side of Family Law
Her love of math gives Amelia a sharp, analytical approach to the financial side of family law, from the division of marital assets to child support calculations. She takes the time to understand each client’s goals, then works to protect them and their children.
A Family Tradition of Public Service
Public service runs deep in Amelia’s family. Her father served as an Alabama State Representative and is currently running for the United States Congress. Growing up watching him serve the people of Alabama instilled in Amelia a strong sense of responsibility to her community and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, values she brings to every family law client she represents.
Outside the Office
A die-hard Alabama football fan, Amelia can be found cheering on the Crimson Tide every fall, often alongside her four-year-old goldendoodle, Cooper, who is named after Alabama great, wide receiver Amari Cooper. Roll Tide!
